DROP IN CHECK VALVE

TECHNICAL SUMMARY

The Drop-in Check Valve is a downhole drill string well control valve, ideal for offshore floating drilling units. At the first sign of a kick, it’s dropped into the drill pipe bore, auto-seating on a pre-installed landing sub. Its single-flow design blocks upward high-pressure fluid in the drill string, simplifying blowout control when paired with annular wellbore isolation.

Compatible with API connections (NC31 to 7 ⅝REG) and rated for 35–70MPa working pressure, this compact, platform-stored tool enables fast field response. It reduces kick-related operational risks by adding a critical inner-drill-string barrier for onshore/offshore drilling.
