TECHNICAL SUMMARY

Multiple activation bypass valve/Circulating Sub is a set of short sub which can be opened and closed for many times. It is generally installed in special BHA such as directional, speed-up, LWD and so on. It can open and close the bypass hole in time for special operation according to the requirements of downhole conditions, so as to enhance the applicability of special BHA, improve production efficiency and reduce well control risk.

ADVANTAGES

Multiple Activation Bypass System is a multi-cycle circulating tool in the Oil & Gas industry.  It help to solve a lot of drilling problems such as lost circulation and limited circulating rates. Also it helps to reduce the number of trips and limit non-productive time when circulating.

STRUCTURES

The multiple activation bypass valve is mainly composed of bypass sub, ball basket sub and switch ball group. A switch ball group comprises an active ball, two closed balls and a locking ball. The active ball and locking ball are made of a new type of engineering plastics, and the closing ball is made of standard bearing steel ball.

APPLICATION

1) High concentration and large particle plugging materials and squeezing cement plugging construction should be carried out without pulling out of BHA.
2) Other special construction pumped in by corrosive liquid.
3) Large displacement well flushing in directional well, horizontal well and highly deviated well.
4) Clean casing and BOP group.
5) Remove metal burr in time during window opening and milling operation.
