TECHNICAL SUMMARY

When the casing encounters a well shoulder during its run in holw, the self-rotating design of the guide shoe automatically changes direction, guiding the casing smoothly into the well. Since the guide shoe rotates using fluid, if mud cake, sand particles accumulate, or there is localized wellbore contraction, drilling fluid can be pumped in to circulate and rotate the guide head to remove the mud cake or sand particles, thus guiding the casing to continue running.
