SAFETY JOINT

TECHNICAL SUMMARY

Integrated into drill strings for drilling, workover, and well testing, the AJ-C Safety Joint transmits both forward and reverse torque during routine operations—no disruption to downhole tool performance. When downhole tools become stuck, this joint disconnects intentionally as a fail-safe, allowing retrieval of the upper drill string to mitigate costly fishing or workover delays.

It fits standard API connections (ranging from NC26 to 7 ⅝ REG) across models like AJ-C86 to AJ-C228, adapting to onshore and offshore wellsite needs. This purpose-built design boosts operational safety by limiting stuck-pipe-related downtime and equipment loss in challenging downhole environments, serving as a critical protective component for well intervention workflows.
