The world's first M350 FPSO Launched

On May 26th, the "Bacalhau" ship was officially delivered in Dalian. The M350 FPSO has a total length of 364 meters, a width of 64 meters, a depth of 33 meters, a design draft of 22.65 meters, a displacement of over 460000 tons, and a deck area of 17400 square meters, equivalent to three standard football fields. It is currently the largest floating production storage and unloading tanker in the world. The ship is classified as a Det Norske Veritas ship and flies the Bahamian flag.

This project is the first super large offshore engineering project designed according to the latest specifications of Det Norske Veritas in the world. It is applicable to oil and gas development operations in many sea areas around the world. It can process 220000 barrels of crude oil every day, equivalent to a land oil and gas processing plant covering an area of 10 square kilometers. Designed with a lifespan of over 30 years, capable of withstanding hurricane attacks.

It is reported that the ship will operate in the Santos Basin off the coast of S ã o Paulo, Brazil, and is currently the largest floating production, storage, and unloading vessel in Brazilian waters with the largest production capacity and reserves.

On June 12, the world's first M350 FPSO "Bacalhau" slowly left the wharf of Changxing Island Naval architecture Co., Ltd. of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company and embarked on its first voyage to Singapore.
